Characteristics of solar power generation system

1. Solar energy is inexhaustible and inexhaustible. It is estimated that the energy of the solar energy projected onto the earth in a year is equivalent to the heat generated by 137 trillion tons of standard coal, which is about 20,000 times the energy generated by various energy sources in the world in a year.
2. Solar energy will not produce pollution that threatens the environment during the conversion process.
3. Solar energy resources are spread all over the world and can be exploited dispersedly and regionally. About 2/3 of the areas in our country can make good use of solar energy resources.
4. Photovoltaic power generation is intermittent. It generates electricity only when there is sunlight, and the amount of electricity generated is directly proportional to the intensity of sunlight.
5. Photovoltaic power generation operates statically, has no moving parts, has a long lifespan, and requires little or no maintenance.
6. The photovoltaic system is modular and can be installed close to power consumption. In areas far away from the power grid, it can reduce power transmission and distribution costs and increase the reliability of power supply facilities.
